Kandy Lathrop, MSW, brings more than 16 years of experience in mental health and substance use treatment, supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. A graduate of Florida Atlantic University, she is deeply passionate about mental health and dedicated to helping people build stability, insight, and meaningful change.

With 17 years of personal recovery, Kandy offers a grounded and authentic perspective that enhances her clinical work without defining it. She is known for her warm, genuine, and relatable therapeutic style, creating an environment where clients feel safe, respected, and understood. Her approach emphasizes rigorous honesty, self-awareness, and personal accountability as key drivers of growth and emotional wellness.

In addition to her clinical role, Kandy is actively involved in community service,

serving as the secretary of a non-profit organization for survivors of domestic violence and volunteering with local homeless initiatives. She remains involved in the recovery community through service work and sponsorship within 12-Step programs. Her commitment to service reflects her belief in meeting people where they are and supporting dignity, connection, and opportunity for all. She brings both clinical expertise and heartfelt presence to her work, helping clients move toward healthier, more fulfilling lives.
