Jenni Rivas is a bilingual Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. She worked with adolescents, adults, parents, and families, helping clients navigate trauma, depression, grief, identity development, family conflict, parenting challenges, and major life transitions.
Jenni has extensive experience supporting individuals impacted by abuse, domestic violence, addiction, neglect, suicidal ideation, and other complex trauma-related concerns. Her clinical approach is rooted in Person-Centered Therapy and integrates evidence-based modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Relational-Cultural Therapy (RCT), Trauma-Focused Therapy, Faith-Based Counseling, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). She also incorporates expressive interventions such as Play Therapy, Art Therapy, and Sandplay when appropriate.
Known for her warm, collaborative, and compassionate style, Jenni strives to create a safe therapeutic environment where clients feel understood, empowered, and supported as they work toward healing, resilience, and lasting personal growth.
